InfoLibrarian Change Management Modules
At the heart of the change management solution is a core
“Change Management Engine,” which provides the functionality to submit, deny and
approve changes. The service raises events to allow for third party integration
of messaging applications to the change managements system, providing email
notification of changes submitted and approved to the Data Steward assigned to a
catalog.
Contribution Portal – The “InfoLibrarian Contribution
Portal” is a role securable web based data entry portal for the contribution of
changes from different users and groups within your environment. The changes can
be posted to change management, auto-approved or set via Catalog settings.
InfoLibrarian Scanners – InfoLibrarian Scanners are
available or configurable for most sources. Depending on the product package,
some scanners are included with the product purchase (see table above). Most
scanners are sold separately and can be added at any time.

Extension Library
The Dot NET Extension Library
allows organizations wishing to develop
framework add-ons, portal enhancements and custom
scanners exclusively via a .NET C# API with any of the
.NET programming languages including VB.NET,
ASP.NET and C#.net. The Extension Library enhances the classic
API interfaces with interfaces developed in C#

NOTE: The .NET Extension
Library is only available to customers using the
Enterprise Framework R2.
InfoLibrarian software can be deployed on virtual PC and
Server environments if required.
