InfoLibrarian Auto Scanner™ & CLI (Command Line Interface)

Auto Rescan™ utility is a part of our server based products, but now we've included it in the InfoLibrarian Studio™. The Auto Scanner™ allows for command-line and/or scheduling of scans for automation. The auto scanner also tracks changes in history automatically. In our server products the InfoLibrarian Auto Scanner™ is a powerful multi-threaded/scalable server component of the product. • InfoLibrarian™ Meta-Model Support

    The InfoLibrarian Repository Designer™
The Object Modeler allows you to identify anything that you want documented and define it. Additionally you can organize it the way you want. Think of it as having the ability to define templates for the metadata you want to manage in your environment. Build your own meta-model with no code or repository modifications. For example, you can create objects that represent:

    • Business Glossaries.
    • Concepts and Terms.
    • Hierarchies.
    • Taxonomies.
    • Valid value lists.
    • Policies for data governance.
    • Data quality metrics.
    • Hardware inventory.
    • Business processes.
    • Key performance indicators.
    • Technical processes in business terms.
    • Applications and components.
    • Subject Areas and Categories (Taxonomy).
    • Define new objects for custom scans loaders and templates.
    • Create unlimited custom properties.
    • Define complex objects.

One use case would be to create an object and its properties in the Repository Designer™, then use the InfoLibrarian™ Spreadsheet or Database Adapter to populate synchronize with the repository, giving you the power to essentially build your own custom meta-model.
